What inspires me –

My lifestyle, my hobbies and my work evolves around crafts, craft creation and craft sales. My inspiration comes from the fantastic place we live, on the shores of Rosscarbery Bay, with beautiful scenery, stunning coastline and wonderful safe waters. Colour enhances beauty and influences my everyday achievements.

My biggest motivation is to keep challenging myself.’

My favourite passage from a poem is –

What childishness is it that while there’s a breath of life in our bodies, we are determined to rush to see the sun the other way around?’

From the poem – Questions of Travel by Elizabeth Bishop.

I love this poem because it challenges identity through travel and almost why we feel the desire to travel and move, why cannot we be happy at home?’
